Job description
What to Expect
The new Supply Chain Analyst will be the project manager within the EMEA indirect procurement department at Tesla. Own delivery of the Indirect Procurement roadmap: bring spend, suppliers, and process under control, then scale it and automate the admin so category managers can focus on negotiation and commodity expertise. You will turn the roadmap into a plan, keep clear timelines, and report progress against a single baseline.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the development and maintenance of databases and reports for spend, suppliers, and purchasing activity.
- Drive categorization and taxonomy so spend is classified and visible across commodities and regions.
- Track roadmap outcomes: spend under control, supplier base, commodity strategies, savings, and procurement governance.
- Coordinate the operating model — buyer coverage, low-value spend support, PO review, and vendor onboarding.
- Reset KPIs and support price control, should-costing, and a clear approach to tail spend.
- Run the systems roadmap with the teams that own the tools, aimed at simpler, more automated procure-to-contract processes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, business or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or project management
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
