Job description

About Remote

Remote is building the infrastructure that makes global payroll and employment possible for everyone, everywhere. Our team is made up of people who want to own a piece of that work, not just contribute to it. That work happens across six continents, only Antarctica left to go, entirely remote. It also requires real fluency with AI in every role, not just familiarity with it.

Our standards are high, and the ownership is total. You'll have the trust and space to find your own way to the best answer, and the support to see it through, because that's how we build things that actually work at this scale. In return, your career grows faster, because at Remote, growth is tied to results. We're founded on the principle that where someone lives should never limit what they can achieve, and we operate exactly that way.

Job Description

What this job can offer you

  • Build and own Remote’s next generation of lifecycle messaging channels, including WhatsApp, WeChat, and emerging channels.
  • Define the strategy, operating model, and roadmap for new channels from the ground up, then turn that vision into scalable programs.
  • Shape cross-channel customer journeys that coordinate messaging across email, messaging platforms, Sales, and other channel touchpoints.
  • Experiment with AI agents and automation to deliver more relevant, timely, and efficient customer experiences in target markets.
  • Create a best-in-class messaging experience that directly drives pipeline, down funnel activity, and business impact.

What you bring

  • Experience developing channel strategy and launching or scaling messaging channels, ideally WhatsApp, WeChat, SMS, or another conversational channel, along with several years in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing.
  • Strong strategic thinking and cross-channel judgment, with the ability to translate strategy into a clear roadmap, coordinated customer journeys, measurable tests, and scalable programs.
  • Aptitude for building AI agents and acting as the human in the loop to review and optimize their output.
  • A test-and-learn mindset, strong analytical judgment, and experience defining channel KPIs, interpreting performance, and turning insights into action.
  • Track record of partnering with Marketing Operations to build best-in-class, operationally sound, and scalable solutions.
  • An autonomous, collaborative approach with a bias for action and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared strategy.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English. Experience working remotely is not required but is considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and performance of Remote’s lifecycle messaging channels, launching and scaling WhatsApp, WeChat, and future channels globally.
  • Design coordinated cross-channel journeys and high-impact use cases across acquisition, onboarding, retention, re-engagement, and expansion.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and RevOps to define the governance and operational foundations required to run channels reliably at scale, including consent and preference management, data architecture, lead routing and automations.
  • Build AI agents to accelerate channel development, continuously refining prompts and workflows to improve performance.
  • Create a rigorous experimentation and measurement program, using channel insights to optimize performance, prioritize investment, and identify future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, Sales, Product, Analytics, Legal, Data Protection, and other stakeholders to deliver localized, compliant, and valuable customer experiences that drive pipeline and funnel impact.

Practicals

  • You'll report to: Head of Lifecycle Marketing
  • Team: Growth Marketing - Lifecycle Marketing
  • Location: EMEA or AMER
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Application process
