What the job involves

• We are seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead a team of engineers within our Security Products Engineering group. This role will have a strong focus on delivering effective and reliable cybersecurity products and systems. This includes strategy, leadership, technical guidance and building engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for developing people and cultivating a strong engineering culture
• This role reports to the VP of Engineering for Security Products and is expected to work with peers to drive results and improvement in alignment with the group’s strategy
• Lead multiple teams of engineers delivering customer facing products
• Partner with Product Management to define and execute a strategy and achieve audacious goals
• Lead and mentor engineering managers and engineers across the organization
• Work with peers around the world to drive cross organizational projects and develop best practices
• Foster a culture that is results oriented without sacrificing curiosity, kindness, and empathy for customers and co-workers alike
• Define metrics that guide the engineering teams
• Drive continuous improvement in your teams
