About The Role You'll report to the Czechia General Manager (Managing Director of the CZ market), lead a local courier operations team, and work closely with cross-functional and HQ stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep operational experience, strong data instincts, and a genuine enthusiasm for applying AI tools to solve problems faster and smarter.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Country-Wide Expansion, Supply Strategy & Supply Management. Own the end-to-end supply strategy for the Czech Republic — from identifying expansion opportunities in new cities and regions, to designing the go-to-market approach for courier supply. Balance short-term growth targets with long-term market health, and ensure the supply base scales ahead of demand. Own the full courier lifecycle — acquisition, activation, conversion, retention and engagement — to continuously grow and improve the quality of the supply base.
• Fleet Relationship Management. Act as the key account manager for Bolt Food's courier fleet partners in the Czech Republic. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with fleet operators, negotiate commercial terms, and develop a fleet partnership strategy that supports supply quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• AI-Augmented Operations & Capability Building. Actively identify opportunities to use AI tools (e.g. for forecasting, anomaly detection, reporting automation, or workforce planning) to improve team output and decision-making speed. Champion a culture of tool adoption and experimentation within your team. Establish best practices, run structured training, and upskill the team on analytics tools including Looker, Mixpanel, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Team Leadership. Build, develop and lead the Courier Operations team in CZ. Set clear performance expectations, coach team members, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Metrics Ownership. Own and drive key operational KPIs: new active couriers, funnel conversion rates, online hours, utilization rate, rejected orders, delivery times, deliveries per hour, and CPO. You'll diagnose performance gaps and implement data-backed solutions — not just report on numbers.
• Strategy & Project Management. Partner with the Manager and HQ to shape local operational strategy and lead implementation of global initiatives with a CZ-market lens.

About You

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, food delivery, last-mile logistics, operations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role with bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven track record of owning operational metrics and delivering measurable improvements. Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Looker, Mixpanel or similar) is a plus.
• Strategic thinker who can move between high-level planning and ground-level execution.
• Excellent communicator in English; Czech language skills are a strong advantage.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and calm under pressure.
• Demonstrated comfort with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for operational or analytical tasks — or a clear, evidenced willingness to learn and adopt them quickly.
