Senior Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and maintain the APIs and services powering Framer. You'll work on scalable high-performance systems that enable real-time coordination seamless publishing and much more.

What you’ll do

•

Build and maintain efficient well-documented APIs and services.

•

Own backend systems end to end from design through deployment and operations.

•

Work with engineers and designers to ship impactful features.

•

Contribute to decisions on technology scalability and performance.

•

Ensure code quality through reviews and thoughtful engineering practices.

•

Focus on building robust systems that scale.

What you’ll bring

•

5+ years of software engineering experience.

•

Strong expertise in Go and/or TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.

•

Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.

•

Familiarity with microservices container technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS).

•

A focus on quality scalability and performance.
