Job description

Job Description
Third-party risk management sits at the heart of how Danske Bank oversees its supplier relationships, and TRACE is the digital solution making that possible. As Product Owner, you will shape a product that replaces manual processes with structured, transparent workflows, giving risk specialists and business users the tools they need. You will work in a self-organised, cross-functional squad where your decisions matter.

What You Will Be Doing
You will join the Risk & Compliance Tribe, a genuinely agile organisation where business and IT professionals work side by side in cross-functional squads. The TPRM squad is building TRACE, Danske Bank's future digital solution for third-party risk management, replacing spreadsheet-based assessments with a user-friendly application, structured workflows, and a central repository. You will work closely with risk specialists, end users, and TPRM business stakeholders, while collaborating with teams supporting procurement integrations and exploring future automation and AI capabilities planned for 2027.

More specifically, you will:

  • Set the product direction and roadmap for TRACE together with TPRM stakeholders
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, translating needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Guide the squad to deliver assessment workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data quality
  • Collaborate with other Product Owners and technical teams to align integrations and delivery dependencies
  • Use sprint reviews and user feedback to coordinate testing, release readiness, and adoption follow-up

About You

  • Experience as a Product Owner with knowledge of software lifecycle management
  • Experience in third-party risk management, risk assessments, procurement, or vendor lifecycle processes
  • Experience and interest in AI and how it can improve products and ways of working
  • Ability to work with software engineers, business analysts, and business leadership to define product vision
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build long-term direction together with stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate a large, complex organisation
  • Clear communicator who builds alignment across business and IT teams
  • Familiar with agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Good written and spoken English skills
