Fullstack Developer (Credit Risk)

Join Morgan Stanley's Credit Risk Technology team in Budapest and help drive a strategic modernization program prioritized by the Chief Credit Officer. As part of the Limits & Approvals squad, you will build next-generation solutions that support credit limit management, exposure monitoring and credit review processes used across the firm globally.

You will:

• Design and develop full stack applications supporting Credit Risk limit management and approval workflows
• Modernize existing credit risk platforms and services
• Build scalable APIs and user-facing applications
• Drive DevOps adoption and automation across the platform
• Implement monitoring, testing and CI/CD best practices
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners and business users globally
• Contribute to strategic data lineage and risk data initiatives
• Support the ongoing evolution of business-critical credit risk systems

✅ You have:

• Strong experience in Java application development
• Full stack development experience across front-end and back-end technologies
• Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Hands-on DevOps experience and understanding of CI/CD practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern software engineering principles
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment
• Excellent English communication skills

The Credit Risk Fleet is responsible for technology solutions supporting credit exposure management and credit review processes across Morgan Stanley. The team is executing a multi-year modernization strategy focused on improving efficiency, automation and data quality across critical limit management workflows. You will join the Budapest Credit Risk team and work closely with colleagues across North America, Europe and Asia on a strategically important initiative.
