Danske Bank Markets, as part of Danske Bank’s Large Corporates and Institutions division, is looking for motivated and curious individuals to join our Trainee Program in 2027. We are recruiting trainees for either the spring or autumn periods, with a possible summer intake as well. The position will be based at our Helsinki office on Kasarmikatu.

Learn from the best and grow with us
Gain hands-on experience and genuine exposure to the world of banking and finance. You will work directly with experts across our teams and build insight into areas such as financial modelling, company and market analysis, valuation, sales and trading, client interaction and the creation of impactful analytical presentations.

You can join one of the units listed below while also having opportunities to learn from the others, giving you a broad understanding of the financial ecosystem:

• Equity Research
• Equity Sales Trading
• FX & IR derivatives trading

From your first day, you’ll be a valued member of the team and contribute to meaningful projects with real impact.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for university students in their third year or beyond who are motivated to build experience in banking and capital markets. Whether your background is in finance, economics, engineering, or another discipline, we want to hear from you if you are eager to learn and develop.

Success in this role will require:

• Strong analytical and communication skills in both Finnish and English
• A proactive mindset and strong motivation to solve challenges
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team-driven environment
