Who you are

• If you are obsessed with payments, possess an exceptional product sense, and know how to bridge high-level vision with measurable execution, we want to hear from you
• An Experienced Product Leader: You bring 15+ years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 12+ years operating in a senior product leadership role (e.g., VP, SVP, or CPO)
• A Proven Technology Executive: You have a demonstrated track record of leading product organizations and driving massive scale at a top-tier technology company
• Strategic & Impactful: You are a strategic thinker who can connect a high-level, multi-year vision to a tangible, measurable roadmap—and you know how to inspire an entire organization to execute on it
• Technically Adept: You possess a strong technical background and are highly comfortable engaging in deep technical architecture discussions with senior engineering leaders. A background in software engineering is a significant plus
• Experience in Hardware/Software interaction: You know how to build products that combine hardware and software to create best in class, unique experiences. Bonus if this experience is in payment terminals
• Customer-Centric & Payments Obsessed: You are deeply passionate about the payments ecosystem. You are excited to spend time on the ground with customers to learn about their complex payment workflows and needs
• An AI / ML Native: You have demonstrable experience leading AI and ML-powered product initiatives. You have hands-on, practical experience building with AI agents, copilots, and/or embedding ML models into core products
• Industry Expert: Prior leadership experience in fintech and/or payments is key

What the job involves

• We are looking for a highly strategic, visionary, and technically adept Vice President of Product, In Store Experience. In this executive-level role, you will be the driving force behind our in person payments strategy, leveraging a deep knowledge of Hardware, Software and data driven insights across Payments and Loyalty to shape the future of our product offerings
• You will lead a high-performing team of Group Product Managers, Product Leaders and Product Managers, partnering closely with Engineering, Partnerships, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to deliver solutions that meet the complex needs of our enterprise customers
• Define the Strategy: Craft and execute a compelling product strategy for Adyen in person payments globally, applying a strong, sharp product sense to every decision
• Drive Cross-Functional Success: Operate seamlessly with cross-functional (XFN) partners across Engineering, Partnerships, Commercial, Supply Chain and other XFN teams to align roadmaps and deliver high-impact products
• Build and Lead a World-Class Team: Lead, mentor, and scale a strong organization of Product Managers and Product Leaders, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and speed
• Champion the Customer: Act as a strategic partner to our most important clients. You will regularly present the product roadmap to key strategic customers, listen deeply to their needs, and help them navigate and leverage the Adyen Payments product vision
