About The Team The Payments Risk Operations (PRO) team builds and maintains the operational framework behind Airbnb’s fraud prevention and payment risk programs. We own the policies, procedures, and workforce strategy that power manual risk investigations, partner with internal teams on new product launches, and manage a global network of vendor partners. Our work sits at the intersection of fraud operations, data, and platform trust.

The Role We are looking for an entry-level Training Content Designer to build and maintain the learning content that keeps our operations team sharp. This role sits within PRO and touches every part of the team: from new-hire onboarding to procedure documentation to vendor agent training. You will work closely with subject-matter experts across Risk Governance, Strategic Delivery, and Risk Intelligence to turn complex fraud and payments concepts into clear, effective learning experiences. This is a high-impact, collaborative role with real ownership from day one. 100% remote from Ireland What You’ll Do

• Design and build training content across formats: eLearning modules, quick-reference guides, assessments, and onboarding programs for PRO team members and vendor agents (TTEC, Concentrix).
• Partner with SMEs on the PRO team to translate fraud investigation workflows, risk policies, and operational procedures into accessible, learner-ready content.
• Maintain and update existing training materials to stay current with policy changes, new tooling, and process improvements.
• Manage content in our LMS: publish modules, assign curricula, track completion, and surface gaps or stale content.
• Support the design of learning assessments and knowledge checks to verify comprehension and identify areas for reinforcement.
• Contribute to the PRO knowledge base, ensuring documentation is accurate, well-organized, and searchable.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk Governance, Risk Transformation, and vendor management on training needs tied to new policies, product launches, and operational changes.
• Bring a consistent learner-focused lens to content reviews, flagging when complexity, jargon, or information density could reduce comprehension or retention.

Required What You’ll Bring

• 0 to 2 years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, technical writing, or a closely related field. Internship experience and strong portfolio work are welcome.
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex processes into clear, structured content for a non-expert audience.
• Proficiency with at least one eLearning authoring tool (Articulate 360 / Rise, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent).
• Solid writing skills: clear, concise, and appropriately tailored to the audience. No jargon for jargon’s sake.
• Comfort working with ambiguous inputs and translating them into structured learning outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Preferred

• Familiarity with LMS platforms (Workday Learning, Cornerstone, TalentLMS, or similar).
• Experience creating content for operations, compliance, fraud, or financial services environments.
• Basic understanding of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, or Bloom’s Taxonomy.
• Experience supporting documentation or training in a fast-scaling, cross-functional organization.
• Exposure to knowledge management systems or internal wikis (Confluence, Notion, or similar).
