Job Description
- Become the Trusted Advisor: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for leading European NGOs and Nonprofits, guiding them on how to leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions to further their mission
- Internal Education: Educate the broader Account Teams you collaborate with on the specific capabilities of Salesforce Marketing and Commerce technology within the context of fundraising and constituent engagement
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Account and Territory teams to identify target organisations where digital transformation can have the highest impact
- Drive Impact & Revenue: Create and execute a strategy to drive revenue within a specified European region and/or a list of named NGO accounts
- Prospecting: Generate business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting into current Salesforce customers (upsell/cross-sell) and greenfield organisations
- Full Cycle Ownership: Own the sales cycle for the entire Salesforce Marketing technology stack—including lead generation, deal strategy, pricing, packaging, and deal closure
- Performance: Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Brand Advocacy: Drive brand awareness and lead generation via networking, NGO associations, and industry events
- Forecasting: Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce
- Customer Success: Ensure long-term customer satisfaction, retention, and success in achieving their mission goals

- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in German or Dutch is considered a plus
- Mission Oriented: You have a genuine passion for selling transformative enterprise software to leaders within Nonprofits and NGOs (specifically organisations with 1,000+ employees). You understand the unique challenges of the sector
- Industry Knowledge: You possess a strong point of view on industry trends (fundraising, donor retention, digital advocacy) and can build a compelling narrative around digital transformation for the third sector
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software/technology sales, account management, and enterprise software sales
- Domain Expertise: Strong Digital Marketing sales experience and familiarity with the Marketing Technology (MarTech) landscape is highly preferred
- Technical Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the Solution Engineering team to create compelling demonstration scenarios that speak to donor journeys and constituent management
- Agility: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Track Record: A proven history of sales excellence working as an Individual Contributor and within a matrixed team environment
- C-Level Credibility: Proven experience selling at the “C” level. Specific experience engaging with Chief Development Officers, Chief Fundraising Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, and Chief Advancement Officers is a distinct advantage
