Job Description

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in project delivery of mission-critical facilities over the full project lifecycle.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.
- Experience with commercial negotiations, contractor procurement and mobilization into delivery.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Ireland: €118000 - €120000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Support construction delivery of our critical data centers by facilitating an integrated, predictable and scalable project execution strategy across Google's construction portfolio in EMEA.
- Measure project performance across the lifecycle of the portfolio and organize team feedback, lessons learned and strategy improvements.
- Drive construction team performance excellence by working with the cross functional teams and partnering with the local site teams through project execution to ensure clean handoff into functional operations.
- Continue to implement improvements in delivery and execution from the pilot sites and over the long term whilst intercepting new business requirements and focus on continual improvement.
