About Mistral
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems—across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector—co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the People team, you will partner with hiring managers to attract and hire exceptional people across multiple domains: GTM, Corporate, Engineering/Product, and Science. Your role exists to help shape how the team identifies, engages, and secures talent that moves the business forward—especially in challenging and competitive markets.
You’ll guide candidates through hiring processes, acting as an ambassador and ensuring a memorable experience. As an early team member, you’ll influence how recruitment is done, building systems and processes that lay the foundation for the future. You’ll work from various locations, with regular visits to Paris to connect onsite and stay close to the team.
What You Will Do
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies
- Attract and engage unique candidates across diverse functions and locations
- Oversee end-to-end candidate journeys, ensuring clear communication at every stage
- Identify and fulfill complex roles in multi-location settings
- Analyze data to spot trends, inefficiencies, and improvement areas in talent processes
- Propose and implement enhancements to processes, documentation, and tools
- Collaborate to raise standards in candidate experience and recruitment effectiveness
- Play a central role in evolving the overall talent acquisition function
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of recruiting experience in demanding environments, ideally in tech or high-growth settings
- Strong depth in recruiting for either Enterprise GTM, Product Engineering, Infrastructure, or Science roles
- Comfort managing searches independently in highly competitive talent markets
- Ability to solve problems and improve processes using data
- Experience supporting international recruitment and communicating effectively in English
- Capability to influence senior stakeholders with credibility and tact
- Capacity to operate from strategy down to hands-on tasks with organization and discipline
- Familiarity with tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, or Modernloop is a plus
