Job Description

About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
  • Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role We are looking for an analytical and high-ownership Operations Manager to lead four of our most important domains in Lithuania: Planning & Analysis, Marketplace, Riders, and Trust & Safety. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy and operations, directly supporting how Bolt operates in a key European market.

Please note that this is a full-time permanent employment opportunity. The monthly gross salary for this role ranges from 4800€ to 5500€ and will depend on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

You will own the operational strategy across four interconnected pillars. Your focus will be on monitoring city performance, executing rider strategy, and ensuring compliance and safety standards across the platform. You will report to the General Manager and work cross-functionally with Growth Analytics, Central Operations, Legal, and Product teams.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Performance Tracking & Planning: Monitor and track the business performance of cities within your region. Identify performance risks early and suggest corrective actions based on data.
  • Marketplace Optimization: Develop analytical models to optimize marketplace health. Suggest and implement price changes, budget allocations, and competition defense mechanisms to maintain market position.
  • Rider Growth: Lead the Rider domain with the primary objective of growing rider activity. Develop local programs to unlock new rider segments and expand Bolt's use cases beyond standard ride-hailing.
  • Competition & Trends: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and partner earnings to ensure Bolt maintains a competitive advantage.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring multiple workstreams are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Regulatory Implementation: Work with Legal and Public Policy teams to translate local and EU regulations into scalable operational processes.
  • Advocacy: Navigate local policies and transportation sector trends to ensure internal processes remain compliant and ahead of requirements.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Finance, Analytics, or a related analytical role. Experience working within tech, mobility, or a highly regulated industry is an advantage, and you have experience managing or leading a team for at least 2 years (a big plus).
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset – you spot opportunities, take ownership, and move with urgency without waiting to be asked.
  • You are highly data-driven with excellent numerical skills. You are comfortable developing analytical and decision frameworks in Excel/Google Sheets to support your strategies and suggestions.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and a hands-on approach. You are a problem-solver who can navigate obstacles independently and stay focused on results.
  • You are an excellent communicator in both Lithuanian and English, able to present confidently to senior internal and external audiences.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical field.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone. If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it. You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!

Everyone is welcome Bolt is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, colour, nationality, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to make reasonable accommodations throughout our hiring process. If you require any adjustments, please let us know.
