Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Solutions Engineering Intern to join the NetApp Iberia Solutions Engineering team.

This six-month internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the Solutions Engineering organization, combining technical learning with practical involvement in real sales and customer-related activities.

The intern will work closely with the Iberia Solutions Engineering team, Sales and other relevant teams, developing an understanding of NetApp technologies, solutions and the technical sales cycle while contributing to activities that deliver real value to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Solutions Engineering team in preparing for and following up on customer opportunities and customer and partner engagements.
• Assisting with Spark/CRM opportunity-related activities, including maintaining the technical and opportunity information required by the Solutions Engineering organization and collecting, organizing and maintaining information throughout the sales cycle.
• Supporting the preparation and review of quotes, standard technical/commercial information, customer and partner presentations, technical documentation and standard solution materials associated with opportunities.
• Participating in selected technical demonstrations, Proofs of Concept and solution-validation activities, initially alongside experienced Solutions Engineers.
• Learning NetApp’s portfolio, technologies and solutions, developing a foundation in data infrastructure, hybrid cloud, AI/data, cyber resilience and storage.
• Collaborating with Sales, Solutions Engineering, partners and other internal NetApp teams.
• Participating in internal technical enablement and Early in Career learning activities.
• Taking ownership of defined projects or activities where progress and impact can be demonstrated during the internship.

Job Requirements

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in enterprise technology and in developing a career in a technical, customer-facing environment, including working with customers, partners and sales teams.
• Interest in areas such as infrastructure, cloud, data management, AI or cybersecurity.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good level of English and Spanish.
