Solution Area Specialists Manager - Cloud & AI

Overview

We are hiring a Cloud & AI Platforms (CAIP) Manager to lead Microsoft's Cloud & AI Platforms business in Norway.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth across Microsoft's AI and cloud platform portfolio, including Data & AI, Azure Infrastructure, Application Innovation, Fabric, Foundry, GitHub, and emerging AI Agent scenarios.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a specialist team while partnering across Microsoft to accelerate AI transformation for customers. The role requires a combination of people leadership and business leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create a compelling market and customer vision around AI transformation
• Build and coach a high-performing sales organization
• Engage confidently with C-level business and technology executives
• Translate technology into measurable business outcomes
• Drive execution excellence, pipeline health, forecast quality and consumption growth
• Lead through influence across multiple Microsoft teams and partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND several years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  o    OR equivalent experience
• Fluency or business level English and Norwegian language skills
• People Management experience
• Experience engaging with C-level and board level stakeholders

Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Norway is kr 865,000.00 - kr 1,378,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
