Software Engineer III, Full Stack, Retail Advertiser Intelligence

In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience working with large scale infrastructure and data processing pipelines.
• Experience in data processing, aggregation and reporting.

As part of the Retail Advertiser Intelligence, you will be developing and maintaining infrastructure that powers products providing retailers with the reporting insights they need to make investment decisions, debug their performance and understand Google's competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the core reporting infrastructure: RVL, UDFs, Reporting Servers, Dynamo.
• Work with PM and UX to understand product requirements and develop the features.
• Part of oncall rotations, and keeping the system healthy.
• Design and improve advertiser experience latency.
