Software Engineer II, YouTube Studio, Full Stack

In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in backend coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.
• Experience in ML model coding languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience with web or mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Manage Front-end development for web and mobile and Back-end server development.
• Work with LLM/GenAI prompt and agentic engineering.
• Work with UX designers and product managers.
• Manage productionization, monitoring, reliability, and measurement.
