Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. Within Azure Data, the messaging and real-time analytics team provides comprehensive solutions and a robust platform that enables users to ingest high granularity signals (real-time & observability) and complex data, converting those into a competitive advantage in real-time for both end users and modern applications.
Microsoft Fabric is Microsoft's unified data and analytics platform, bringing together data engineering, real-time analytics, business intelligence, and AI experiences into a single SaaS offering.
The Event Streams and Schema Sets team is building the next generation of real-time data experiences that help customers ingest, transform, govern, and understand streaming data at scale. Our products enable organizations to connect diverse event sources, define and evolve schemas, and build reliable data pipelines powering mission-critical analytics and AI workloads.
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help shape the user experience of these capabilities. You will work on interactive web applications that simplify complex distributed systems and data concepts into intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities
Be part of the on-call rotation to respond to and mitigate live site issues.
Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences within Microsoft Fabric.
Partner closely with product Managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams to define product direction and customer scenarios.
Build scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end architectures using modern web technologies.
Transform complex data platform concepts into intuitive workflows, visualizations, and management experiences.
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architecture discussions, testing strategies, and operational best practices.
Participate in feature design from concept through production, including telemetry, experimentation, and live-site quality.
Identify and use appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
Professional experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
Experience designing and implementing complex user interfaces for enterprise or cloud-based products.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and development velocity.
Experience with component libraries, design systems, and accessibility best practices.
Familiarity with telemetry, experimentation, and data-driven product development.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Poland is zł 161,100.00 - zł 277,400.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
