Software Development Engineer

Who you are

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Own the complete development lifecycle for assigned features, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support
• Collaborate across teams to understand requirements, share technical insights, and ensure solutions align with broader system goals
• Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the development of other engineers
• Identify and drive technical and process improvements that enhance system reliability, performance, and team productivity
• As a Software Development Engineer, you'll focus on designing and implementing software solutions within our distributed ecosystem
• Your day might include architecting components that integrate with our larger system, writing and reviewing code with teammates, and troubleshooting production systems to ensure reliability
• You'll participate in design discussions with colleagues, mentor other engineers on the team, and contribute to our technical strategy
• Beyond coding, you'll help identify ways to improve our processes and tools, ensuring our team operates efficiently and delivers value to both internal and external customers
