What To Expect
As a Software Developer, you focus on backend applications, intended for, but not limited to, the European market. You optimize and expand existing in-house systems that form Tesla’s ERP backbone — automating and connecting processes from customer and vendor through to the books, so data stays accurate, timely, and scalable as the company grows.

Your focus will be the financial core of that backbone: high-volume flows across modules such as GL, AP, AR, Tax, Banking, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany. You will work independently on regional projects as well as urgent, immediate changes. Familiarity with ERPs or systems that handle this kind of transaction volume is a strong starting point.

It is an exciting and demanding position that requires you to multitask, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-moving, collaborative environment. Because you are working on urgent, immediate changes, you have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret data, and a habit of identifying improvements in the given context.

You will be based either in the Netherlands, Spain or Germany.

What You'll Do- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as product managers, quality engineers and release engineers to own your solution from start to deployment.

• In addition to ongoing projects, you are responsible for tackling urgent problems that require immediate action.
• Able to communicate and collaborate with domain experts from different disciplines and the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
• Communicative and operational skills as well as the ability to work with many stakeholders.
• Investigate root cause of failures to drive continual improvement. And continually learn, set, teach, apply software best practices, tools and technologies.
  What You'll Bring- At least 5+ years of experience in the latest backend/frontend web stack: NET core, C#, and Angular or React.
• Be an expert in RESTful web services and web applications.
• Strong experience with stream and event processing frameworks, i.e. Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, i.e., MongoDB, MySQL, or MSSQL and must be proficient user in Jira, Confluence and Git.
• Have experience with building scalable systems
• Mastering the English language in both written and verbal form is required and some degree of flexibility is desired as different teams work in different time zones
