Senior UX Designer, Health Ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• Experience designing both consumer-facing mobile experiences and developer-facing platform utilities (such as API onboarding, developer portals, or partner integration settings).
• Experience designing user-centric privacy, consent, and data governance frameworks that make complex sharing settings feel intuitive, safe, and transparent.
• Exceptional cross-functional partnership skills with a track record of driving alignment and co-creating product strategy with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX design for Google Health’s integration ecosystems, creating intuitive consumer flows for discovering, authorizing, managing, and troubleshooting third-party app and device connections.
• Design granular, trust-first control mechanisms, including user-facing settings for source prioritization, data conflict resolution, inline record deletion, and bidirectional read/write permissions.
• Establish the universal 3P data manifestation framework, defining standardized UI components, chart styling, and small, elegant attribution badges that scale across application interface.
• Formulate the developer-facing UX strategy, designing clear scope-consent flows, developer portal interfaces, and predictable integration pathways that clearly outline technical capabilities and guidelines for external partners.
• Partner cross-functionally with PM, Engineering, and UXR to translate complex back-end architectures into simplified, benefit-forward customer-facing solutions.
