Senior Solutions Architect

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience selling or supporting technical sales in the cloud computing industry
• Deep technical expertise across cloud infrastructure and AI/ML, with experience building production systems combining both as a solutions engineer, entrepreneur, or solution architect
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Practical experience designing, building, and deploying production web applications, with the ability to translate non-technical descriptions into high-level conceptual architectures
• Full-stack software development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks, a variety of databases, Serverless tooling, and modern coding assistants
• Strong understanding of developer workflows, including branching, versioning, CI/CD practices, and system integrations
• Knowledge of key market players and competitors in cloud computing, AI, and storage spaces
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
• Hands-on experience building applications on Cloudflare Workers
• Professional cloud certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Architect
• Experience providing structured customer feedback to influence product direction
• Active tracking of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to inform product strategy and roadmap

What the job involves

• As a Solution Architect for Cloudflare AI / Developer Platform and a member of the sales team, you will help customers understand the value proposition of the Cloudflare Developer Platform and demonstrate how to effectively build applications with Cloudflare products
• Utilizing both technical and business skills, you will advise customers and sales teams, support strategic opportunities, architect innovative solutions, and develop proofs of concept and demonstrations
• Serving as a trusted technical advisor, you will guide and enable clients, partners, and internal teams on product capabilities, positioning, and competitive intelligence while maintaining a tight feedback loop with product, product marketing, and pre-sales teams
• Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue, new customers, and pipeline for AI and Developer Platform solutions
• Lead technical discovery with customers and jointly architect best practice solutions to meet customer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to drive platform adoption and revenue
• Present to strategic customers as an expert on Cloudflare Developer Platform solutions
• Align Director and C-Level perceived business and technical value with Cloudflare developer solutions
• Provide succinct feedback to cross-functional teams to deliver relevant developer content, use cases, customer stories, and data-driven value propositions
