Senior React SDK Developer

Stream is looking for a Senior React SDK Developer!

This is a full-time job in our Skopje office in a hybrid setup (3 days in-office).

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Senior React SDK Developer you will join our SDK team with the primary focus on developing and maintaining our React Chat https://github.com/GetStream/stream-chat-react Feeds https://github.com/GetStream/stream-feeds-js and Video https://github.com/GetStream/stream-video-js SDKs and taking our products to the next level!

RESPONSIBILITIES - Integrating new features from our roadmap maintaining existing features - Supporting existing customers and prospects through various channels - Improving SDK’s documentation keeping the SDKs modern and up-to-date - Collaborating with our Backend Design and other SDK teams to clarify and improve the consistency of our feature implementations WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE EXCITING? - You’ll get to work on a products that are going to impact the lives of thousands of engineers and billions of end users - You’ll get to have your work showcased publicly - our SDKs are open source - You’ll deal with complex technical challenges that allow our customers to build their envisioned integration ABOUT YOU OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Comes from a startup background - Has 5+ years of experience - Has experience with open-source and building tools for developers - Solid understanding of React and popular React libraries - Has a solid understanding of the browser/framework performance - Enjoys working with TypeScript - Has a keen eye for UX detail caring about accessibility - Good understanding of the standard performance optimization techniques (state management memoization virtualization re-rendering cycles) - Practices and appreciates the value of a solid test suite BONUS POINTS: - Experience with React Native Angular Vue or any other UI framework Don’t fall into all of the requirements?
