At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world to uncover insights that help LinkedIn’s Sales and Customer Success organizations create value for customers and accelerate business outcomes.

You will partner closely with Sellers, Customer Success Managers, and business leaders to deliver strategic, data-driven recommendations that inform decisions, influence account strategy, and identify opportunities for growth.

A core component of this role is frequently presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders, C-suite executives, and other key decision makers. You will be expected to translate complex analyses into concise, compelling narratives, communicate with confidence and credibility, and lead discussions that influence executive decisions.

You will serve as a trusted consultant, building credibility through strong stakeholder management, effective prioritization, clear communication, and a deep understanding of customer and business challenges.

You will become an expert in LinkedIn’s data ecosystem, leveraging SQL, analytics, AI-enabled tools, and business intelligence platforms to identify trends, develop recommendations, and deliver insights at scale.

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, business acumen, executive communication skills, and a passion for using data to drive meaningful customer and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage LinkedIn’s unique data assets to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive customer and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success stakeholders to identify business challenges, define analytical approaches, and develop recommendations.
  • Write SQL and analytical queries to extract and analyze data, utilizing business intelligence and visualization tools to create insightful and scalable outputs.
  • Develop clear, compelling, executive-ready narratives that connect data and analysis to consequential business decisions, opportunities, and actions.

Translate complex analyses into concise, executive-ready narratives, deliver recommendations with confidence and credibility, respond effectively to questions and challenge, and influence decisions that drive customer and business outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical consultant, using business acumen and stakeholder context to move beyond reporting and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, balancing responsiveness, quality, and strategic impact.
  • Build deep expertise in industry, talent, workforce, and customer trends to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
  • Utilize emerging AI, automation, and analytical capabilities to improve the efficiency, quality, scalability, and impact of insight generation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and best practices across the broader Insights organization.
  • Maintain a growth mindset and actively contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, experimentation, and innovation.
