Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A Marketplace)

• We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be part of the dynamic and fast-paced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team
• In this role you will report to a Senior Manager of the Marketplace Business Unit FP&A team
• You will be working in our office in Amsterdam
• You will be required to provide strong financial and analytical support to your business unit or department’s stakeholders
• You will have to bridge what the data tell you and how that could help decision-making on a wide array of topics
• You will be supporting the planning and forecasting cycles for both financial and operational business metrics
• You will also be involved in ad-hoc deep dives / analyses whenever there is a need from the business
• Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role will evolve over time
• You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves
• Support with forecasting, variance analysis and reporting of financial performance
• Contribute to robust, scalable and insightful reporting of the business unit or department’s key metrics
• Proactively deliver intelligence based on data to support and advise the FP&A team and/or business partners whenever necessary
• Provide analytical support and contribute to strategic decision making
• Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize the existing reporting to fit with evolving requests from senior management
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenarios and benchmarking as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or other related field (preferred)
• Ability to understand, work with and proactively advise business partners
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
• Strong team-working skills with ability to work independently
• High attention to detail and ability to connect the dots and reconcile multiple data sources
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to different audiences
• Experience with SQL / Python / other data analytics and reporting tools
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and working in an unstructured environment
