Job Description
About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
- Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
- Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
- Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
- Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About The Role As a Senior Data Analyst in the Global Marketing team , you’ll be responsible for making sure we’re making the best decisions. You'll work closely with our teams to measure the impact of millions of advertising euros and billions of marketing communication touchpoints, to identify tactics and strategies that have the highest incremental performance, and to recommend to our global and local teams serving the 30+ countries the best ways to spend their time and budgets.
We're looking for someone who proactively identifies problems before they're assigned, owns the analytical agenda end-to-end, and brings structure and direction to the teams they work with. You'll need the confidence to productively challenge senior stakeholders to set priorities, not just respond to them. In your job, you'll be working closely with our marketing and business management teams as well as our industry partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses of marketing investments to recommend optimal budget allocations across channels, markets, and specific campaigns, following existing frameworks.
- Develop incrementality testing roadmaps across paid and owned channels (emails, push etc.) together with channel owners across Rider and Driver user types.
- Design data-driven operational playbooks and strategic frameworks that lead to a step change in marketing performance at scale.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists and managers to independently design and analyse A/B tests for marketing communication initiatives.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to marketing teams and leadership to support day-to-day operations, business reviews, and strategic decision-making.
- Proactively surface problems and opportunities that stakeholders haven't yet identified, bringing your own analytical agenda to the team, not just responding to requests.
About You
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Information Management, or another quantitative discipline, providing a strong foundation for data-driven decision-making.
- You have 4+ years experience working with large-scale datasets and solving real-world business problems through analytical thinking and data exploration.
- You have successfully owned and delivered analytical projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving impact from problem definition through implementation.
- You possess strong SQL skills and solid proficiency in Python or R, using them to analyse data, automate workflows, and uncover actionable business insights.
- You are proficient in at least one BI platform such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Data Studio, or Metabase, with a strong eye for effective data visualisation and storytelling.
- You have a solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and A/B testing, paired with excellent communication skills that enable you to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
- You have a natural leadership instinct, you bring structure to ambiguous situations, are strong in your stance, and can influence decisions without formal authority. This could come from professional experience or from any context where you've led people or initiatives.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
- Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
- Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
- Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone. If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it. You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools.
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Everyone is welcome Bolt is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, colour, nationality, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
