Senior Commercial & Category Manager

Bolt Market is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead and scale the Stores commercial organization in Bucharest.

About The Role In this role, you will define and own the country’s commercial strategy and full commercial P&L, balancing consumer experience, revenue growth, and long-term profitability. You will be the senior point of accountability for all commercial operations, setting direction, establishing frameworks, and building high-performing commercial teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Define and own the country’s long-term commercial strategy in alignment with global leadership
• Own the full commercial P&L, including GMV, margin, profitability, and pricing architecture
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly commercial plans with clear priorities and success metrics
• Lead strategic relationships with top-tier and national CPG partners, overseeing Joint Business Plans and Growth Tools
• Set governance and guardrails for promotions, assortment, supplier performance, and commercial decision-making
• Lead, develop, and retain high-performing commercial teams; act as the key commercial stakeholder locally and globally

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in senior commercial or category leadership roles within ecommerce or retail
• Proven ownership of commercial P&L and strategic planning at country or regional level
• Strong people leadership experience with a track record of team development
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field plus English (proficient level) and Romanian proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in senior, cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical and financial acumen; experience with Nielsen data is a strong plus
