Job Description
Who you are
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
- Experience negotiating and structuring partnership agreements that drive measurable business outcomes
- Experience managing and optimising a portfolio of partnerships across multiple stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance teams
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in oral and written communication
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience in the mobile OEM ecosystem (device manufacturers, pre-install models, app distribution)
- Experience in music, streaming media, or subscription services

- Amazon Music is looking for a Business Development Lead to join our team. In this role, you will own and scale mobile and growth partnerships that represent the largest driver of BD-led customer acquisition for Amazon Music. You will manage a portfolio of high-impact partnerships across mobile device manufacturers and growth channels, optimise existing deals, negotiate commercial terms that drive mutual value, and identify new opportunities to expand Amazon Music’s growth globally

- Own and manage a portfolio of partnerships,
- Identify, evaluate and develop new partnership opportunities
- Negotiate and renegotiate commercial terms, ensuring deals are structured to drive mutual value and long-term growth
- Optimise existing partner performance
- Drive cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and International teams to deliver partner launches on time and at quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partner stakeholders and internal leadership
- Define and track success metrics across the partner portfolio; present business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Stay current on mobile ecosystem trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging distribution models to inform partnership strategy
