This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you to utilize both your data analysis and technology skills.
You will have the chance to work on challenging projects related to systems that support both active trading and quantitative analysis. You'll tackle complex problems for our trading strategy development teams in areas such as signal creation and detection, quantitative strategy analysis, and low-latency C++ strategy development. You'll also work desk-side, alongside senior developers who understand the nuances of building complex trading strategies.

Clear Communicator: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with and are comfortable sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts, and listening to the views of others.
Ambitious: You’re someone that enjoys setting personal goals and giving your all to achieve them. Be it in Arts, Sports, Academics, or another passion; you’re not afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.
Technically Proficient: Strong software development skills in (Python and a compiled language). Experience and comfort working with data using libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy. You will have exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
Problem Solver: When it comes to solving problems, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.
What's In It For You Education: We are renowned for our market-leading education and training programmes. You will start off in a multiweek education program designed to give you a broad understanding of the spaces where quantitative strategy developers add value. Once you complete education, you’ll be placed on a trading team that aligns with your interests and background. This will give you the best preparation possible for a career in quantitative strategy development.
Collaboration : You will get to work with a wide range of people in the classroom and through your project work; people who share a passion for mathematics, problem-solving, game theory, and technology.
Culture : We are not your typical trading firm - our non-hierarchical, casual, and collaborative culture allows employees of every level to thrive, and we focus on continuous development, no matter how long you’ve been in Susquehanna.
Perks : We offer a highly competitive compensation package to our graduates.
