Job Description
Description Are you passionate about building customer trust and protecting online shoppers? Join our team as a Program Manager for a key customer trust feature in Amazon stores worldwide. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our product pages and enhancing the shopping experience.
In this position, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to drive positive changes in our product. You'll drive AI implementation and automation strategies and implement solutions to address complex challenges. Your work will directly impact millions of customers, ensuring they have a safe and trustworthy shopping experience on Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Developing automation strategies and driving AI implementation to enhance operational efficiency and scale risk detection capabilities.
- Partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements, shape product roadmaps, and deliver solutions that improve the customer experience.
- Leveraging data analysis and machine learning insights to proactively identify trends, predict emerging risks, and prevent issues before they impact customers.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and continuously improve our risk management operations.
- Drafting and presenting deep-dive documents and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex findings into actionable next steps.
A day in the life
- Identifying opportunities to automate risk detection and enforcement processes, reducing manual intervention and improving response times.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to test, refine, and deploy automated solutions that address emerging risk patterns.
- Analyzing automation performance metrics to measure effectiveness, identify gaps, and iterate on existing workflows.
- Developing and maintaining documentation on automated systems, including decision logic, escalation paths, and performance benchmarks.
- Monitoring automated risk signals and conducting quality control checks to ensure accuracy, identifying false positives and false negatives, and feeding learnings back into the system to continuously improve detection precision.

To continue building customer trust, the Customer & Partner Trust team works with authorities, merchants, brands, vendors and customers to identify and prevent Selling Partner risk, as well as infringements of intellectual property (e.g. counterfeit, trademark, copyright) and other abuse in our product catalog.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.
Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
