About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Property & Procurement Services team at Danske Bank.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and delivering value for money across the business.

Working closely with stakeholders across the bank, you will provide specialist procurement advice, support sourcing and tendering activities, and identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs and drive efficiencies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading procurement projects and tendering activities, from requisition to initial invitation to tender through to contract award.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and Group Procurement.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve services and maximise value for money.
  • Supporting contract owners with ongoing supplier and contract management.
  • Ensuring procurement and outsourcing activities comply with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining accurate procurement information and reporting through the Click2Buy (Ivalua) platform.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in procurement, contract management and supplier negotiations.
  • A good understanding of commercial contracts and contractual terms.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to challenge existing arrangements and identify improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.

Why join Danske Bank?

You’ll be joining a collaborative team where you can make a real impact, influence procurement decisions and help deliver better commercial outcomes for the bank.

If you’re commercially minded, relationship-focused and passionate about driving value and improving how things are done, we’d love to hear from you.
