Job Description

About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
  • Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role We are looking for a PR Manager to lead public relations across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland . In this role, you will develop and implement Bolt’s regional media strategy, coordinate media activity across the Nordics, and act as a key point of contact for the press, partners, and stakeholders.

You will manage media enquiries, interviews, speaking opportunities, events, and office visits, while helping ensure Bolt’s messaging and PR assets remain current and effective across the region. This role also involves working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external PR agencies, and may include coordinating the work of other team members.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Own and grow Bolt’s media relations network across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland, including handling media enquiries, pitching stories, organising interviews, and supporting speaking opportunities for key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly PR strategies for the region, monitor and report on media coverage, and manage local PR budgets efficiently.
  • Draft press materials and localise global assets, while keeping regional PR materials such as messaging documents and photos up to date.
  • Lead collaboration with external PR agencies, including identifying partners, guiding delivery, monitoring performance against ROI, and optimising related costs.
  • Drive proactive PR projects and agenda-setting initiatives, collaborate across teams and functions, and support crisis communications in line with internal procedures.

About You

  • Proven experience in public relations, including building media relationships, developing PR strategies, and delivering regional or market-level communications initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the Swedish media landscape and established connections within newsrooms.
  • Advanced written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and English, with excellent copywriting and grammar.
  • Strong project management, reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and prioritisation skills, with a hands-on, get-it-done mindset.
  • Experience with crisis communications, and exposure to public policy-related projects, international teams, and business-to-government projects.

Why you'll love it here

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
