Job Description
Bolt is the very first energy platform that wants to make the Belgian power grid truly sustainable. With Bolt, you buy your energy directly from local, green producers. So you know exactly where your energy comes from and where your money goes.
Ready to go against the current with us?
We're looking for a People & Culture Manager. As a member of our leadership team, you're the go-to sparring partner for our managers and the driving force behind everything that makes people want to join Bolt, grow at Bolt and stay at Bolt.
Your mission: strenghthen the people foundation and company culture that lets Bolt keep growing without losing what makes it Bolt.
What you'll be doing
You take full ownership of the People & Culture domain, from strategy to execution. You have a seat at the table where Bolt's course is set, and you translate it into the organisation. You build on a solid foundation and take it to the next level.
More concretely:
- Strategy & organisation: together with the leadership team, you shape the strategy and translate it into clear quarterly goals for your domain. You have tentacles throughout the organisation and sense what's going on, often before it's said out loud. Based on conversations and data, you dare to hold up a mirror to the leadership team and help steer the direction.
- People operations: you set up the projects and structures and run the operations needed to reach the quarterly P&C goals. With your team, you manage the people operations, administration, policies and HR budget, and report the people figures to the leadership and Finance team. The first months will be very hands-on. You decide what we automate, what we drop and what we do better.
- Performance & reward: you own and strengthen our performance & growth process and our reward process. You make sure every Bolter knows what good looks like, how to grow, and that reward is transparent and fair.
- Talent acquisition: you make sure we find the right talent for the right place. You shape and support a hiring process that attract people who share our mission.
- Onboarding & learning: new Bolters get a soft landing with you and keep growing in their role from there. You turn insights from growth talks and feedback into learning opportunities that help every Bolter take the next step.
- Management growth: you coach and strengthen our management and leadership team so they can bring out the best in their teams. You're their sparring partner for difficult conversations, Boltly Honest feedback, complex situations and performance issues.
- Culture: you live Bolt's mission and core values, and keep building on them. You make sure the Bolt Behaviors show up in how we hire, give feedback, celebrate and make decisions, every day. You help us raise the bar, without losing the warmth that makes Bolt, Bolt.
- Safety, office & IT: you make sure Bolt is a safe and healthy place to work. You also run the office: from a clean workspace, fresh fruit and well-kept plants to following up when something breaks or the heating and air conditioning act up. And you own the IT setup, so every Bolter has tools and access that simply work.
