Overview
Enterprise Partner Solutions, part of Microsoft’s Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization, is accountable for building and co-selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services, with our global Enterprise partners. Our Enterprise partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisories, high-value management consultancies (SI), software development companies (SDC) - working together to empower people and organizations to achieve more. The SDC team at Microsoft operates at the frontier of what's possible — partnering with organizations across the full innovation spectrum, from early stage startups to established market leaders, to help them build, launch, and scale transformative solutions powered by the Microsoft platform.
As a Partner Development Manager, you'll be at the center of the AI era — partnering with the most disruptive Software Development Companies to accelerate their go-to-market strategies and co-shape the next generation of cloud solutions. This is your opportunity to sharpen your business acumen at the intersection of AI and industry transformation, elevate your commercial craft, and architect bold market strategies that move at the speed of innovation.
You are required to bring your work ethic, enthusiasm, optimism, and customer-centric passion to stimulate growth and transformation within our partner ecosystem. Your challenger mindset, sales management skills, technological and industry knowledge, and superior interpersonal abilities will be leveraged to empower our partners in delivering market-defining solutions to our customers. This role offers you the chance to fast-track your career growth as you engage with intricate partner organizations, establish robust relationships in the C-Suite, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to boost performance and tackle complex issues.
What We Value in This Role
-
Growth mindset — You approach every partner conversation as a learning opportunity, staying curious about technology trends and constantly evolving your strategies alongside the market
-
Accountability with integrity — You own your partners' outcomes — the wins and the misses — and you show up with transparency and honesty in every relationship
-
Challenger spirit — You bring bold ideas to the table, push partners to think bigger, and aren't afraid to reframe the conversation when it unlocks greater opportunity
-
Inclusion and empathy — You build trust across diverse partner organizations, cultures, and leadership styles, creating environments where every partner feels genuinely invested in
-
Collaborative by nature — You thrive in a One Microsoft model, rallying internal stakeholders and breaking down silos to deliver for your partners and customers
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities
-
You will champion a dynamic portfolio of Software Development Companies (SDCs) — spanning cloud solutions and industry verticals — accelerating their journey into the Microsoft ecosystem to help them innovate faster, launch breakthrough products, unlock new markets, and scale their customer base. You will also spearhead the strategic recruitment of next-generation partners, targeting organizations aligned with Microsoft's AI priorities, Solution Area Plays, and market imperatives.
-
You will architect and execute bold partner business plans — anchored in Microsoft's strategic objectives — that fuel cloud consumption, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock both near-term wins and long-term growth for your managed partners. Plans will be precision-engineered to each partner's unique capabilities and ambitions.
-
You will design high-impact go-to-market strategies and co-sell execution plays, leading partner pipeline reviews and coaching partners to sharpen their sales and consumption approach. You will bridge Microsoft and partner sales teams to break down barriers, outcompete, and build winning proposals — driving toward revenue and consumption targets, closing top opportunities through the Microsoft sales methodology, and accelerating transactions through the marketplace.
-
You will own your partners' performance end-to-end, maintaining a consistent cadence of engagement with executive, sales, and delivery teams to surface and eliminate execution blockers, drive program adoption, and accelerate results. You will lead with accountability — designing and driving correction plans that put partners back on a trajectory for growth.
-
You will earn a seat at the table as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders of complex partner organizations — aligning their vision, strategies, and growth ambitions with Microsoft's to forge mutually powerful account plans that deliver strategic and commercial impact.
-
You will drive the development of capability and capacity plans that equip your partners with the right blend of sales acumen and technical depth — empowering them to build high-impact Microsoft offerings, grow thriving practices, and accelerate cloud consumption and digital transformation.
-
You will be the voice of the partner internally — leading resolution of complex, high-stakes escalations with urgency and precision. You will rally the right stakeholders to prioritize partner needs, breaking down silos across Microsoft and within the partner organization to accelerate performance and unlock execution at scale.
