Who you are

• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles
• Experience in cloud architecture and CXO level engagement
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc
• Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent
• Cloud Technology Certification
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• AWS Professional level certification
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced technical leader to coach, grow, and partner with customer-facing Solutions Architects supporting Cross-Industry and Public Sector organizations across Ireland and Northern Ireland
• In this role, you will lead and inspire a team of Solutions Architects who serve as trusted technical advisors to senior executives, helping them navigate complex business challenges through innovative cloud solutions
• You will combine broad industry knowledge with deep technical credibility in modern cloud architecture, data platforms, and artificial intelligence to guide both your team and your customers through transformational technology decisions
• Working in partnership with account management, you will shape and deliver on the strategy for AWS adoption across Irish Cross-Industry and Public Sector customers, driving executive-level conversations that align cloud solutions with transformation goals
• Lead, develop, and grow a team of Solutions Architects by providing coaching on best practices, solution design, customer engagement strategies, and presentation skills to help them become trusted technical advisors to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
• Build and execute a customer-focused strategy in partnership with account management teams to drive cloud adoption across Irish Cross-Industry and Public Sector customers, establishing deep relationships with decision makers to enable them to champion cloud and artificial intelligence transformation
• Guide your team in designing and implementing modern cloud architectures with emphasis on data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities, working backwards from customer needs to deliver scalable, secure solutions that address complex business challenges
• Act as a technical thought leader representing AWS in executive-level discussions, public speaking engagements, and written content such as whitepapers and reference architectures that showcase how AWS delivers value to customers
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies within your customer base, identifying opportunities to integrate generative artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and modern architecture patterns while serving as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and specialist organizations
• One moment you might be coaching a Solutions Architect on their approach to an executive briefing with a CTO, the next you could be reviewing a generative artificial intelligence prototype your team has built to inspire a customer's innovation lab
• You will balance strategic planning; aligning your team's priorities with the broader AWS Ireland strategy, with hands-on mentoring and customer engagement
• Your influence extends beyond Ireland as you share patterns and best practices across the UK&I Solutions Architecture community, collaborate with service teams to shape product development, and ensure your team remains at the forefront of the data and artificial intelligence transformation reshaping every industry
