Overview

The Manager, Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare & Education leads one of Microsoft's most strategic industry portfolios in Switzerland, with primary responsibility for Critical Infrastructure and Healthcare customers, including some of the country's most important organizations. The role is accountable for business performance, customer success, executive engagement, and people leadership across the segment.The successful candidate brings deep expertise in regulated industries and a significant understanding of the business, operational, regulatory, and technology challenges faced by critical national infrastructure providers and healthcare institutions. They build trusted relationships with C-level executives, act as a strategic advisor to customers, and help accelerate digital, security, data, and AI transformation.As a people leader, the role develops a high-performing and inclusive team, builds leadership capability, and drives accountability for results. Success requires a customer-centric mindset, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and the capability to lead across Microsoft's matrix organization to deliver outstanding customer experiences and sustainable business growth.The role combines strategic account leadership, industry expertise, people management, and commercial accountability to strengthen Microsoft's position as the trusted transformation partner for Switzerland's most critical and regulated organizations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business growth through leading and empowering account teams. You will lead execution of Go to Market (GTM) to deliver customers’ business outcomes across their entire lifecycle.
• Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-level executives.
• Win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieving targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption).
• Lead partnership across the organization to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft.
• Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring of your team.
• Develop, empower and transform your team to meet industry and customer needs by hiring, retaining, and developing talent
• Apply industry and market expertise, leading a team to identify solutions to drive new opportunities in alignment with customers’ needs and develop industry-specific capabilities and expertise in relevant local trade, regulatory, and policy environments (e.g., opening doors and removing barriers for sales teams, partners, and customers) across geographic areas.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND extensive experience within regulated industries in Switzerland, particularly Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Education
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Solid people leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent AND leading effectively across a complex matrix organization.
• Demonstrated success managing strategic enterprise accounts and executive customer relationships AND experience leading cloud, security, data, and AI transformation initiatives.
• As this role involves close collaboration with local customers, fluency in German is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in French

Sales Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 231,600.00 - CHF 470,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
