At eBay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.

Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the team and the role:

eBay is the world's #1 Collectibles marketplace, connecting millions of buyers and sellers across categories including trading cards, memorabilia, toys, comics, and coins. Our mission is to be the most loved destination for collectors by continuously improving their experience and expanding our offerings.

As a Manager, Collectibles Strategic Programs, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering critical programs across eBay's UK and European Collectibles business. You will lead the development, launch, and ongoing optimization of services, features, and programs that improve the collector experience and drive business growth.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, you will turn strategic opportunities into actionable programs, using data and insights to guide decisions and measure success. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing marketplace while engaging with a passionate community of collectors.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of key initiatives across eBay's UK and European Collectibles portfolio, supporting business growth and improving the customer experience.
  • Find opportunities for new features, services, and business offerings using customer insights, market trends, and data analysis to inform priorities and investment decisions.
  • Develop compelling cases and impact assessments to evaluate new initiatives, secure support, and guide resource allocation.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and external partners, aligning on priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Manage end-to-end program delivery, overseeing project milestones, operational execution, and performance tracking to ensure initiatives achieve their goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and presentations to senior and executive leadership, supporting strategic decisions and securing approval for key initiatives.
  • Monitor program performance, find opportunities for improvement, and communicate progress through regular business reviews and leadership updates.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in program management, strategy and operations, management consulting, product management, or related fields, ideally within ecommerce, retail, consumer goods, or consumer technology.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. An MBA or equivalent experience is an advantage.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with experience delivering complex initiatives across multiple teams. Proficiency with tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions, build relationships, and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Proficiency in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, including experience using data to develop business cases, evaluate performance, and inform decisions. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; SQL and data warehouse experience are advantageous.
  • A proactive, organized approach to managing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and delivering results. Experience with two-sided marketplaces and an interest in Collectibles, including trading cards, coins, comics, or toys, are beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Drielinden, Germany, and travel to industry events, partner meetings, and eBay offices as needed (at least four times per year).
