Job Description

Description This is not your typical Learning Experience Designer (LXD) role. We are building the future of vendor education at Amazon - designing AI-native learning solutions that help thousands of vendors across Europe succeed on our platform. Our team doesn't build courses and hope vendors find them. We design intelligent, data-informed learning experiences embedded directly where vendors work - surfacing the right content, to the right vendor, at the right moment.

The LXD will work at the intersection of learning theory, instructional design, product thinking, and AI to create solutions that scale across multiple marketplaces and languages. Day to day, you will design and produce learning content (eLearning modules, videos, playlists, job aids) while increasingly shaping how that content is structured, delivered, and personalized through AI and platform integration. You will use vendor to inform what you design and measure whether it works.

We need someone who is curious about technology, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by solving for learning gaps in ways that have not existed before. If you want to push e-learning modules through a traditional ADDIE pipeline each week, this isn't the role for you. If you want to design AI-native learning solutions that directly reduce vendor errors, accelerate their growth, and drive measurable business impact then read on.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2,033 gross per month and salary totals depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and develop across multiple modalities: eLearning, video, job aids, playlists, and in-tool embedded content.
  • Apply design judgment to determine the right solution for each problem. Recommend the format, modality, and channel that will drive the most impact with the least friction
  • Translate complex vendor processes into clear, accessible learning content for a diverse, multilingual audience across European marketplaces
  • Design learning products: embedded contextual guidance, adaptive paths, modular components, not just standalone courses.
  • Work with AI as the default, not an add-on. Use generative AI to draft, iterate, localize, and scale content.
  • Structure content for machine consumption: create modular assets with clear metadata so they can be surfaced by AI tools, chatbots, and platform surfaces.
  • Experiment continuously. Evaluate emerging AI tools and workflows and bring proposals to the team.
  • Inform requirements for how educational content integrates with Vendor Central, working with central tech teams.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from needs analysis through launch and iteration.
  • Facilitate scoping sessions with SMEs. Drive efficient review cycles that maintain quality without unnecessary bottlenecks.
  • Drive adoption, continuous improvement and maintain content freshness across your portfolio. Own the quality bar for everything you ship.

A day in the life

Your morning starts with a product team working session - a vendor workflow is driving errors and you work backwards from the data to define the right intervention and where it needs to live. Then you're building: scripting a video with AI, structuring a learning path, designing an in-context prompt. Later, you review adoption data on your portfolio and propose iterations. Between builds, you coordinate with partner teams to integrate content where vendors actually work -chatbots, Vendor Central pages, onboarding flows.

About The Team The vision of the EU Stores Learning Team is to be the most trusted partner in functional capability development, building the best negotiators in Retail and vendors who are able to expertly self-serve through intelligent learning solutions. We have a diverse team working across both internal (employee) and external (vendor) populations to drive tangible business results though educational solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in learning design, instructional design or a related product/content design role
  • Demonstrated experience designing digital learning products beyond traditional e-learning (e.g. adaptive paths, in-app experiences)
  • Experience using AI tools for content production
  • Strong data literacy
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Evidence of learning solutions that drove measurable impact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing content that integrates with APIs
  • Experience working with product and/or engineering teams on content structure or metadata
  • Understanding of vendor, seller or partner education
  • Familiarity with localisation workflows or multi-language content production
  • Experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks to validate learning interventions
  • Familiarity with modular content design, structured authoring or content-as-data approaches
