Job Description
At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
Join Booking.com's Digital Partner Ecosystem team as a Lead - Salesforce Data. You will help build and operate the data backbone that powers accommodation partner experiences across digital channels, account management, self-service, and loyalty use cases. Salesforce Data Cloud is becoming the central hub that connects partner data to Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Your work will help ensure the right data is available at the right cadence so teams can deliver more relevant, reliable, and scalable partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Own Data Cloud delivery end-to-end: manage the backlog, drive execution, track milestones, and measure success of Data Cloud initiatives
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines from Snowflake into Salesforce Data Cloud, including zero-copy streams, data model objects, calculated insights, and activation pathways
- Implement data quality controls, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, incident response processes, and SLA tracking for Data Cloud operations
- Support Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, and Experience Cloud teams with the segments, data models, and activation patterns they need
- Coordinate with Salesforce Professional Services, internal data/platform teams, and contracted resources on implementations, migrations, and optimization projects
- Consult and coach cross-functional teams on data availability, Data Cloud best practices, and self-service consumption patterns
- Drive operational excellence while keeping Data Cloud delivery connected to commercial impact, partner support, and partner loyalty outcomes
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data platforms, Salesforce Data Cloud, marketing technology, sales technology, or data engineering delivery
- Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities, including data ingestion, data model objects, calculated insights, segmentation, activation, and governance
- Strong Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse experience, including data sharing or zero-copy patterns, streams, and data modeling
- Experience with enterprise data integration patterns, including batch, streaming, CDC, and API-based data flows
- Operational ownership mindset across data quality, monitoring, incident response, runbooks, and SLA management
- Dual fluency: ability to work at technical depth with data and engineering teams and at business depth with product, marketing, and commercial stakeholders
- Experience coordinating vendors, contracted engineering teams, or professional services partners
- Strong influence without authority, communication, and problem-solving skills across organizational boundaries
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to lead cross-team initiatives in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
- B2B or partner/supply-side data platform experience
- Exposure to1 or more between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Loyalty Cloud
- Experience with experimentation or A/B testing data infrastructure
