- A book of work with outstanding writing and concepts across brands and mediums, including integrated campaigns and both consumer and B2B work
- Exceptional writing and editing craft, from headlines and taglines to scripts and longer-form copy, with meticulous attention to detail
- Deep experience developing campaign ideas with art direction partners and taking them through to execution across channels such as social, digital, OOH, experiential and video
- Experience shaping a brand voice and tone, adapting your writing for different audiences and markets, and helping others apply brand guidelines
- Proven ability to craft a story or concept that shapes culture, rather than reacting to it

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience using AI in your writing process, with strong judgment about originality, brand voice, accuracy and claims. You review AI-assisted work carefully, protect sensitive information and own the final output
What the job involves
- This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to build Pinterest’s EMEA creative department in London, as part of House of Creative
- As our Lead Copywriter, you’ll concept and write the work that takes that brand further in the region, from campaign ideas and manifestos to taglines and social, with a particular emphasis on concepting and writing
- You’ll work across consumer and B2B, partnering with Creative Leaders to reach Consumers, Creators and Advertisers with work that’s global and culturally sharp
- Lead the development of compelling campaign ideas with art direction partners, taking early concepts through to their strongest 360° creative expression
- Write everything from campaign copy, manifestos and taglines to social captions, digital copy and other brand communications, making sure each piece supports the larger story
- Uplevel creative quality of work across the team in partnership with marketing - delivering both business results and international recognition for the Pinterest brand in the industry
- Collaborate with creatives across disciplines—including design, photography, motion, video and editing—to make cohesive work across formats and markets
- Be a source of inspiration through your collaboration with art directors, designers, producers and marketing managers in creating work that has deep cultural resonance
- Help evolve Pinterest’s voice and tone, and bring it to life across creative touchpoints. Present and sell the thinking behind your work to key stakeholders, creative directors and team members. Including partnering with the US creative team to adapt flagship campaigns for EMEA markets when needed
- Bring depth to conceptual writing
- Use AI thoughtfully to explore more ideas faster and sharpen your writing, while holding the pen and owning the craft, accuracy and quality of the final work
