Job Description

Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Berlin, Germany; Munich, Germany; Hamburg, Germany; Frankfurt am Main, Germany . Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understand the big picture, business models, KPIs, and drivers, including the interdependence of internal functions. Knowledge of the changing industry, product, and market landscape and its effect on Google's differentiation.
  • Understand and leverage Google’s differentiated products/services to solve customer problems and drive growth.
  • Ability to use criteria-based methods and product expertise to predict future revenue and create a financial plan. Effectively manage the sales and customer management pipeline to discover new value opportunities.

Germany: €116000 - €118000 (EUR) + 60% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Develop an understanding of the business and marketing objectives and needs of customers, and their consumers. Develop, execute account plans with internal stakeholders. Create and own joint business plans tied to client objectives and revenue goals.
  • Be a partner to customers building and maintaining high-impact, long-lasting relationships with executive-level leaders and agency contacts.
  • Build expert knowledge in the advertising and competitive landscape. Identify and size revenue and growth opportunities within the market and for specific customers. Set sales strategies in collaboration with internal partners based on research and customer objectives. Discover new business opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Craft and deliver solutions (pitching) to achieve customer business objectives and drive Google revenue. Act as a cross-functional point-of-contact to resolve customer issues. Draw data-driven insights from analysis to provide tactical recommendations and influence change.
