About the team and the role:

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead employee relations cases, including investigations involving grievances, ethics concerns, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other sensitive workplace issues.
  • Coach and support Consultants and Advisers, helping to build capability and ensure consistent, high-quality employee relations support across the organisation.
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Legal, Centres of Excellence, Works Councils, and external collaborators to resolve complex cases, manage risk, and support business objectives.
  • Deliver training and onboarding programs that strengthen manager effectiveness and enhance employee relations knowledge across the business and People Experience teams.
  • Lead or contribute to policy development, implementation, and process improvement initiatives that increase operational effectiveness and consistency.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and regulatory bodies, ensuring appropriate handling of employee-related matters and compliance requirements.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in supporting the Nordics region. Fluency in Norwegian would be preferable but not essential
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience within a global organisation, with some focus on employee relations.
  • Solid expertise in employment legislation and employee relations practices, with preferred experience supporting Norway, Finland and Denmark and other European jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting complex workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, assess risk, and provide practical recommendations that balance employee, business, legal, and operational considerations.
  • Experience coaching managers and developing capability through guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with experience working across global, multicultural, and remote teams.
