Forward Deployed Engineer, Global Scaled Delivery (English, French)

In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support publisher relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience within the digital advertising ecosystem, particularly with sellside platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), AdMob, AdSense.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI platforms and Large Language Models (LLMs) as daily productivity and research tools, utilizing functional prompting and problem scaffolding to deconstruct technical issues, accelerate code comprehension, interpret logs, and synthesize documentation into structured solutions.
• Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with external and internal stakeholder groups.
• Ability to communicate in Italian or Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

About The Job As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

In this role, being at the intersection of sales, product, and customers, you will focus on technical solutions, incident triage, and scaled delivery. You will embrace AI as an essential thought partner, leveraging Generative AI tools and automated workflows to solve publisher issues faster, and help shape the future of scaled services. You will also balance publisher business needs with technical constraints, develop scalable solutions, and act as a trusted technical partner to those you are working with.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems and roadblocks around ad serving, yield optimization, tagging, policy issues, etc. for internal sales teams and external publishers.
• Leverage Generative AI platforms, prompt engineering, and diagnostic assistants to accelerate root-cause analysis, parse unstructured system logs, and optimize daily resolution workflows.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across Global Scaled Delivery (GSD), creating lightweight tools and scripts (Python, JavaScript) to reduce repetitive operational tasks.
• Work closely with product teams to submit verified bug reports, test beta features, and improve tools and developer documentation.
• Collaborate with publisher's technical teams, partner managers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders to communicate technical feedback, manage escalations, and deliver technical solutions.
