Job Description

This internship is intended for students enrolled in their penultimate/final year of education in an accredited Bachelors or Masters full-time degree program located in the EMEA region. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in Ireland for the duration of the internship program. Interns will be required to be available to work full-time for a minimum of 13 weeks over the Summer 2027 (starting in May, June or July) for the duration of the program. Individuals applying for this position will not be eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field in the EMEA region.
  • Relevant practical or internship experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, accounting, forecasting, modeling or a related function.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Relevant practical or internship experience with building financial reporting, producing analysis, implementing scalable monitoring and implementing reporting solutions.
  • Relevant practical or internship experience demonstrating the ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
  • Proficiency in Sheets or other spreadsheet technology.
  • Ability to complete a minimum 13 week full-time internship in Ireland starting in either May, June or July 2027.
  • Currently in your penultimate/final year of education.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modelling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

With your analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team and the functional areas it supports. You will resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritisation and business profitability, and you will help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Ireland: €47000 (EUR) + 0% bonus target
