About this role Are you passionate about finance operations and technology in the dynamic world of artificial intelligence?

Here's your chance to make a significant impact as we seek a talented working student to join our growing team.

As we continue to expand we're looking for a Working Student Finance to assist with our day-to-day financial operations while taking the initiative to automate and optimize processes using modern AI tools.

What you'll be doing - Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices). - Managing and actively following up on queries in the central finance inbox. - Executing operational tasks and controls within expense management systems such as Pleo and Ramp. - Proactively identifying opportunities and advising on automating and optimizing financial operations using AI tools. - Supporting the finance team with various day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.

What we are looking for - Available for 16 hours per week with flexible hours (preferably set at fixed moments). - Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree (e.g. in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field). - At least 1 year of accounting experience (such as processing bank transactions and accounts payable/receivable). - Someone with advanced proficiency in Dutch capable of working with Dutch accounting and banking systems. - Hands-on knowledge and experience with various AI tools such as Gemini Claude Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and process efficiency. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive self-starter mindset suitable for an international remote-first environment. - Eager to learn and excited to contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of Weaviate's finance function. - You are aligned with our company values https://weaviate.io/company/about-us#values.
