Do you enjoy providing insights and steering strategic decision-making through partnering with senior leadership? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Functions Divisional Finance team as Senior Finance Business Partner.

We are part of the CFO area, responsible for financial steering across Group Staff Areas and Financial Crime and Risk Prevention—large, dynamic, and complex areas with a key role across the bank.

With a clear commitment to being a trusted partner and a focus on releasing the potential in both our business and our people, we provide financial insights and expertise to our diverse stakeholder landscape. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our dedicated finance team and contribute to our continued progression.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support strategic decision-making processes by providing financial insights and guidance to key stakeholders within the organisation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, partnering with business leaders to improve performance, optimise resource allocation, and support overall financial goals. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your analytical skills, business knowledge, stakeholder management skills, and financial expertise to directly contribute to the organisation's growth and profitability.

The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3-4 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

“Uniqueness is powerful - we welcome everyone in Danske Bank.”

  • Oversee the financial planning and forecasting processes, working closely with the area teams to develop and monitor budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and track performance against targets
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial models, tools, and systems to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities

About You

  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in senior finance roles, including demonstrated success as a Finance Business Partner or trusted financial advisor to senior leadership
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear strategic recommendations and advise senior decision-makers
  • Proven ability to lead complex, important financial agendas in a demanding and deadline-sensitive environment, balance competing priorities, and take accountability for timely, high-quality outcomes
  • Deep commercial and organisational understanding, with a proactive and challenging mindset and a strong track record of identifying value-creation opportunities, improving performance, and driving meaningful change
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the confidence and credibility to challenge constructively, build trusted relationships, and operate effectively across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional qualification or advanced degree would be considered an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, planning, and reporting tools, including MS Excel; solid experience with ERP systems and working with large, complex data sets is expected
