This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with outstanding business acumen seeking to grow their international career. We are looking for a highly commercial, strategic and analytics-driven European Export Program Manager to join our team in Dublin or Milan. You will play a critical role in accelerating eBay’s category growth strategy by identifying and unlocking cross-border commercial opportunities across Europe.
You will own the commercial development of seller internationalization initiatives, partnering with key stakeholders to unlock incremental GMV and expand supply across EU markets. This role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data into commercial decisions that deliver measurable business impact. Candidates who combine analytical rigor with a growth mindset and a passion for solving complex commercial challenges will thrive in this role.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you will accomplish:

  • Translate eBay’s category strategy into high-impact commercial initiatives that accelerate cross-border trade, matching buyer demand with seller supply across Europe.
  • Drive the commercial development and execution of the European ProExporter program across key European markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities through data analysis, market insights and commercial judgment, transforming opportunities into scalable growth initiatives.
  • Partner with sellers to unlock international growth opportunities, improving commercial performance across key cross-border trade corridors.

Commercial Performance & Market Insights

  • Analyze marketplace performance to identify commercial trends, whitespace opportunities and growth levers across categories and markets.
  • Develop and execute data-driven commercial plans that accelerate seller growth, increase GMV and maximize marketplace performance.
  • Own performance tracking, proactively identifying risks and opportunities while continuously optimizing commercial initiatives to maximize business impact.

Seller Growth & Enablement

  • Partner with strategic EU sellers to develop tailored growth strategies and accelerate their international expansion.
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor to key sellers, identifying opportunities to grow their business through cross-border trade.
  • Design and implement initiatives that strengthen seller capabilities and improve commercial outcomes across European markets.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Analytics, Operations and Category teams) to shape and execute commercial priorities.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through compelling, data-backed business cases and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Champion a commercial mindset across initiatives, balancing customer needs, marketplace dynamics and business objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into impactful commercial strategies.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to drive commercial decisions and influence business outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of export principles, cross-border commerce and European market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions at different levels of the organization.
  • Experience or confidence in engaging with large sellers and external stakeholders, building trusted commercial relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in English; an additional European language is a strong plus.
