- The Distribution Analyst will leverage SQL, Tableau, and other data tools to drive performance insights, box office analysis, and strategic reporting — while equally managing relationships with UK cinema accounts as a key commercial contact between the studio and exhibitors
- The role offers a genuine balance of analytical depth and client-facing engagement, ideal for someone who wants to combine their data and technology skills with the challenge of collaborating in a dynamic and creative industry
- This position reports to the Head of UK Theatrical Distribution
- Build, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards to visualise box office performance, screen coverage, market share, and release strategy effectiveness across the UK theatrical market
- Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets from internal systems and external box office data sources
- Conduct weekly and title-level performance analysis
- Develop box office forecasting models and scenario analyses
- Prepare comprehensive post-mortem reports for each title
- Monitor and report on competitor release activity, market trends, audience behaviour, and exhibition market developments through data-driven analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate workflows, and enhance the team's analytical capabilities
- Manage relationships with assigned UK cinema accounts, including independent cinemas and smaller circuit exhibitors, with coaching and development support from senior team members
- Coordinate the booking process including screen allocations, holdover commitments, and release logistics with exhibitor partners
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales terms, and payments in coordination with the Finance team
- Collaborate with marketing, publicity, and operations teams to align promotional efforts and materials delivery with booking commitments
- Represent the studio in exhibitor meetings and industry events, building long-term commercial relationships across the UK market
