Job description

Just imagine shaping how the LEGO® brand connects retail media, creativity and commerce across the digital shopper journey. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Digital and eCommerce Marketing Senior Director, you'll shape Western Europe's platform and retail media strategy across Amazon and the wider marketplace ecosystem. You'll lead full-funnel marketing across Sponsored Ads, DSP, search, display and SEO, oversee a significant regional budget and develop a specialist Digital Marketing team of eight. You'll connect media, creativity, shopper insights and commercial priorities across nine Western European markets.

Required Qualifications

  • Led full-funnel platform marketing across Amazon Ads, Sponsored Ads, DSP, search and display.
  • Owned multi-million-euro regional media budgets, setting investment priorities and delivering measurable campaign optimisation.
  • Designed and optimised full-funnel retail media strategies, connecting media investment with brand, shopper and commercial outcomes.
  • Directed regional performance marketing across multiple markets, aligning senior sales, marketing and media stakeholders around investment priorities.

Managed and developed specialist digital marketing teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Developed strategies covering SEO, GEO, AI-driven search or agentic commerce.

Delivered creative commerce or shopper marketing programmes for consumer brands, technology platforms or digital commerce agencies.

What you'll build

  • Define and deploy the Western Europe platform marketing strategy, aligning global and regional priorities with local market needs to deliver full-funnel campaigns across Amazon Ads, Sponsored Ads and DSP formats.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Western European Retail Media strategy, partnering closely with teams across the LEGO Group.
  • Build a forward-looking roadmap for retail media, emerging marketplaces, GEO and agentic commerce.
  • Manage the Western European Amazon advertising budget, ensuring effective allocation and returns across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Lead eight in-house digital marketing specialists, supporting their performance and development while working with external agency resources.
  • Play a senior leadership role within the B2B eCommerce Centre of Excellence leadership team, contributing to its culture, ways of working and long-term direction.
  • Own the DAA and the senior relationship with Amazon Ads, acting as the primary contact for strategic discussions and critical issues.
  • Ensure Amazon marketing is integrated into commercial and strategic planning cycles, including measurement and reporting frameworks.
  • Represent Western Europe in global and regional digital marketing and retail media leadership forums, raising execution standards and sharing effective practices.

Contribute to the broader Western European marketing strategy, ensuring eCommerce and retail media opportunities are reflected in our plans.

If you've personally planned, executed and optimised digital campaigns before progressing into regional strategy and leadership roles, you'll feel at home in this role. What matters most is bringing execution credibility together with strategic range, creative thinking and people leadership.

Life on the team

You'll join our Western Europe B2B eCommerce Centre of Excellence, a distributed and highly specialised team. We combine clear specialist ownership with shared planning, performance reviews and active knowledge sharing. You'll bring curiosity and straightforward communication, moving comfortably between the strategic picture and campaign detail when the team needs it.

What success looks like

You'll help evolve our approach from an Amazon-focused model towards a broader platform marketing strategy while maintaining Amazon performance. You'll strengthen regional marketing integration, measurement and advanced analytics, while helping us explore how retail media, GEO, AI and agentic commerce can shape what's next. You'll work closely with eCommerce, marketing, key account management, demand planning, trade marketing, global media activation, Amazon Ads and agency teams.
